Have you ever pulled out a bunch of old artwork and not recalled making it? That was my odd experience today. As I am starting anew, I thought I'd clean out the old. By old I mean not the ones that were nice enough to frame, but the ones that are sitting a drawer somewhere, totally unseen.

To my surprise, some of the pieces was actually pretty good. There were losers there too — I guess I've been pretty good over the years culling the really crappy ones. Some of the marginal ones I am even thinking about reworking a bit... maybe.

I also realized that some the representational pieces are strangely similar to some my more recent abstracts — an interesting discovery.
